Voice for the Elderly and Disabled
Today's increasingly complex healthcare environment often overwhelms patients and their families, especially when seeking ongoing care or when they are diagnosed with
chronic health condition. There is probably no greater period of fear and anxiety than at a time of medical crisis. At those times
IKOR® can be your greatest ally and your loved one's most experienced advocate.
All advocacy services are provided by Registered Nurses experienced and board certified in specialties specific to the needs of the elderly or
disabled. Our nursing associates are proven leaders in their respective medical specialties often with management backgrounds.
As advocates, our RN Patient Advocates work directly with the treating physician to understand the impact of any current treatment plan upon a
patient's quality of life. The RN advocate facilitates communications with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure the client is being
heard, care is coordinated, and diagnoses are understood.
The RN Patient Advocate works with the patient's current treatment team to actively address the current plan and prognosis. As part of this complete
assessment, we routinely recommend and obtain beneficial changes in a client's overall care.
The IKOR® Registered Nurse Patient Advocate is always available in times of medical crisis 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We support our clients to resolve insurance issues, provide assistance and care options for their long term living arrangements and provide monitoring and
oversight services to ensure our client is receiving the highest standards of care regardless of where the care is provided. |
